The complete 75+ page continuously updated resource document is available in site specific form, or generic to suit all CYC sites via email or on-line to groups who have booked a CYC facility. It includes a full description of each activity where it is performed. Its relationship to VELS is explored through each activity and through each level.

- Students are encouraged to eat healthily on camp and maintain their intake of fresh fruit, vegetables, and water
- Students are required to dress appropriately for their activities and practice sun smart habits
- Students are introduced to a range of activities and the new movements required during their camping program

 

- Students look out for each other and observe potential hazards on activities
- Rooms are shared, kept clean and tidy, and campers are encouraged to be considerate of others and their belongings
- All CYC activities need students to work efficiently as a team in order for everyone to have a go and finish on time
- To complete the challenges set successfully, teams must resolve conflict positively
