School Groups

Phillip Island Adventure Resort was purpose built for School Groups. From the layout of the accommodation, the mix of adventure, educational and team building activities, to its very location on Phillip Island, only a short drive from Melbourne, yet with all the advantages of a rural coastal setting.

Our school camp packages are compliant with VELS, and we have developed extensive material to assist teachers in achieving the best educational outcomes from their stay.  Complete information including detailed VELS outcome material for each activity is available/downloadable from our VELS website at vels.com.au.

The modern facilities and flexibility of accommodation means the Resort is suitable for all types and sizes of School Camp, from small class study camps, to full year-level orientation or adventure camps.  The wide range of program options means that you can have a full and successful camp without even using the Giant Swing, High Ropes or Flying Foxes (Although these and many other popular activities are available to place in your program).  Full OH&S Risk Assessments for all activities and more can be downloaded from this website once you have confirmed a booking with us - just click on Leader’s Resources and follow the prompts.

Speaking of program, we know how difficult it can be to plan a school camp (usually in your spare time while you’re trying to teach as well!), which is why we take a lot of that burden off your shoulders.  Our Program Coordinator will work with you to program the best camp possible for your group.  You just need to let us know which activities you wish to do, what your aims and objectives are for the camp, and we’ll do the rest.  We will organise all the on-site activities, as well as any off-site options you may choose (Such as a trip to the penguins, or to A Maze’N’Things).  We will even organise bus transport for your group to and from camp (within Victoria).
