CYC The Island
CYC The Island is situated right in the heart of Cowes. The Campsite features beautifully landscaped grounds, a large swimming pool, and a wide range of activities. The unique “in-town” setting of the campsite means that it is just a short walk away from the many cafes and restaurants of Cowes, and the peaceful bay beach.
With accommodation for over 200 people, the flexibility of the layout allows for family groups, all the way up to large conferences. The Mariner’s Wharf allows smaller self-catered groups to enjoy the benefits of the campsite, as well as fully-catered groups making use of the dining room, served by a professional and friendly staff.
Educational program options make CYC The Island ideal for school groups from primary school groups, all the way through to tertiary conferences. The vast majority of our term-time bookings are for primary and secondary classes, whose trips to camp are enhanced by the many educational opportunities on Phillip Island, such as the Penguin Parade, Nobbies Boardwalk and the Koala Conservation Centre. We have a wide variety of school program suggestions, including educational, social and activity based programs.
During the school holidays, we run our own Holiday Camps, selecting a different theme each time and providing an experience for children from all over Victoria.
