School Groups

Adanac CYC has taken the stress out of planning a school camp!

We offer an array of on-site activities (both educational and fun) as well as a trained School’s Program Co-ordinator to work with you in creating a program based on your specific requirements.  Perhaps you are looking to spend some carefree hours on our 110 meter waterslide, or maybe you’d rather challenge your students in the skills of archery or canoeing.  Whether your desired outcomes are teamwork, friendship, character development, reflection, education, or just plain fun – we’ve got it made!

Adanac is located just an hour east of Melbourne’s CBD in the heart of the Upper Yarra Valley.  Situated near a number of educational and recreational attractions, such as the Healesville Sanctuary and the Natural Resources Conservation Centre, our location is great for trips en-route on your arrival or departure day, or as a base for day trips. 

To help you further, we would be happy to arrange transportation for any part of your trip.  Our local provider has offered our groups special prices when booked through us.  Travel would be in fully seat-belted, state-of-the-art coaches.  Please ask us for a quote when you make an enquiry.  For more information on all of the program possibilities that we offer, please go to the Activities & Attractions page listed under School Groups.

What’s more, all of our School Camp packages are compliant with VELS, and provide extensive material to assist teachers in achieving their desired educational outcomes.  A School Camp package will be sent to you 10 weeks prior to the start of your scheduled camp to aid in your preparations.

And if that isn’t enough, we offer a 1 and 10 student ratio for our teachers.  That is, for every 10 students you bring, we’ll allow one teacher free of charge!
