It has been a great day two for camp here at Impact! We got into enjoying all the great activities that are offered here at the Phillip Island Adventure Resort! We enjoyed site rotations and got energised with some high energy gym games that kept the campers entertained for hours. To cool off from all the fast paced games, we jumped into the pool for an hour before getting into our pyjamas early for a movie night to relax into bed time. – Please check out some of the key highlights below.!
Craft
Today the campers rolled up their sleeves and dug into some space-themed craft as one of their rotations. Whether they were painting galaxies or creating their own unique galaxies in test tubes, everyone had a great time and loved showing off their new creations!
Giant Swing
The Resort has some amazing facilities. One of these is the Giant Swing. As part of their rotations today the campers had the opportunity to harness up and swing like they never have before. It’s such a great experience to hear the laughter and see all the smiles as they enjoy the activities.
Flying Fox
Another great site activity is the Flying Fox. Again, the campers had the opportunity to harness up and zip down the flying fox. This is always a popular activity and the campers always enjoy the beautiful view of the whole site as they soar through the air!
Gym & Oval Games
After Rotations and lunch, campers headed to the gym and oval to play some high-energy games. With games that resembled camp favourites such as, Capture the Flag, Dodgeball and a the camp favourite, Jug and Jog, everyone joined in and had a great time as they earned points for their team’s weekly tally.
Swimming Pool
After running around in the gym and the back oval this afternoon, a pool session was well in order. The campers and leaders grabbed their bathers and headed for the pool to cool down and enjoy splashing around in the pool. Always a highlight.
Movie Night
After a day of running, playing, jumping and swimming, a relaxing evening was due. So we all got into our pyjamas early and headed for the meeting room to watch a movie. Popcorn was hand-delivered as we watched the Disney-Pixar movie, ‘Wall-E’
