Last week, at the Christian Venues Association (CVA) National Conference in Brisbane, one of our incredible team members, Lily, was recognised with the Spirit of Sharing Youth Award.

The Spirit of Sharing Awards celebrate individuals within the Christian camping community who generously give their time, skills and resources for the benefit of God’s Kingdom. They recognise people who willingly share with others, humbly receive from others, and serve faithfully without seeking recognition.

For everyone who knows Lily, this award comes as no surprise.

Serving Beyond the Job Description

Lily is always willing to step in wherever she’s needed.

While Lily’s primary role is coordinating bookings, her impact reaches far beyond the office.

Whether she’s supporting guests, assisting with programs, helping teammates, or jumping into jobs outside her normal responsibilities, Lily approaches every opportunity with genuine care and enthusiasm.

She consistently puts others first and embodies the servant-hearted culture we strive to create across CYC.

The Spirit of Sharing Award isn’t simply about hard work—it’s about the way someone serves.
