When you need to book a School Camp there are a number of important factors you should consider.
Accommodation Quality
The quality of the rooms is one of the highest priorities when choosing a School Camp. You need to know that the students will be warm, secure and comfortable during their stay. A great Camp Site will have heating, ensuites and quality bedding.
Accreditation
The School Camp you pick must have all the correct accreditations in place. This ensures that the quality of the facilities is up to scratch, all the correct insurances have been looked after and the staff, and campsite, have a quality and expectation to maintain.
Experience
A school Camp stands on its reputation and when making a booking check to see how long they have been around and what sort of reputation they have.
Activities/Facilities
This is a very important point to consider when you make your choice. What are the facilities like –Kitchen, Dinning Room, Meeting Rooms, the Grounds, the Bathrooms and the Recreational Facilities?
Are they of a high quality and what are the different recreational activities available for the school?
Many camps have activities such as: swimming pools, ropes courses, flying fox, boating/canoeing, table tennis, pool tables etc. Make sure you choose a site with enough facilities/activities to enable you to fill in your time during the stay.
Location
A bonus of a good School Camp is if you can interact with the local surrounds – whether this is a forest, beach or urban environment.
